With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild finally on the horizon, it looks as though the series is going to make its biggest departure since the jump to 3D. The large open world and crafting/survival elements shown in the gameplay so far deviate pretty far from the typical overworld/dungeon structure. There were a lot of things you could always count on happening in Zelda games, from the intro to the climax, that we may have taken for granted. Some you might miss -- some not.
