It seems like only a matter of time before video games become photorealistic. Perhaps when we're old and gray, we'll be able to put in a contact lens and experience a new world indistinguishable from our own. But realism isn't all about graphics. To imitate life, games have to mimic the tone of the universe and the social laws by which every human is goverened. In this respect, we've already reached hyperrealism in gaming.
