One of the immutable laws of the code of heroes is that they usually need a mentor to help shape and mold them. Either to train them in the ancient technique of punch-fighting, instill in them a strong moral code (with gems such as "be responsible" - like, how else could Spider-Man have figured that out?), and generally teach them how to be the hero they're destined to be.
Also, they're usually old. And short. But, mostly, they're wise. They're figures to look up to and trust.
And they'll usually die, because nothing motivates a hero like watching their teacher/father-figure die a vengeance-worthy death.
But now it's time to pick - who's the best mentor ever? Who taught their pupils the best? Who instilled the strongest values? Who....made the best waxing metaphor?
It's up to you. Follow your heart, trust in yourself, and vote for the best mentor ever.
