At long last Hollywood has finally delivered the hard hitting puppet noir you've always wanted. You did want this, right? It can't just be me. Behold, The Happytime Murders.

The Happytime Murders is an upcoming Puppet Crime Comedy from Brian Henson, director of your cherished childhood favorites Muppet Treasure Island and The Muppet Christmas Carol, neither of which you'll be able to look at the same way again after watching a puppet cum for 20 seconds.

Set in a world where Puppets and Humans live side by side, the film follows a disgraced ex-detective as he tries to catch a serial killer targeting the puppet community.  Starring Mellissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph and Elizabeth Banks, The Happytime Murders will be traumatizing children later this year
