Christopher Stoll is more of an artist than a scientist, but he seems to have thought a lot more about Pokemon than Professor Oak. Rather than sending an unpaid preteen out into the world to collect creatures, Stoll has taken a hands-on approach to Pokemon. Over on his DeviantArt, Stoll is deep into crafting a Pokedex that depicts the anatomical cross-sections of all the original 150 Pokemon. Ever wonder what's inside a Voltorb? This guy has you covered, complete with detailed descriptions and very scientific explanations on each Pokemon.
Stoll recently launched a Kickstarter for a comprehensive PokéNatomy, which promises to be "An Unofficial Guide to the Science of Pokemon. I don't know about you, but I'd really like to see what the hell a Ditto is made of.
So far, Stoll has completed around 60 entries in his Pokedex, and hopes to complete the full thing should his crowdfunding campaign succeed. We've picked out some of our favorites below.
