We don't really see behind the scenes of cosplay photoshoots all that often. Models make it look easy, but a lot of work goes into making these impossibly perfect snapshots. On top of hair/makeup/passion/talent/skill/drive/being incredibly good looking, these photoshoots sometimes need something extra to make them stand out.

A Japanese photographer who goes by snowfairy88 on Twitter had a pretty bright idea to do just that. While shooting saki_miyamoto, snowfairy went out of his way to brighten up the background.

You can see the magic take place over four photos taken in quick succession. It's the best kind of photobomb.

The end result is undeniably effective, all the while making for a hilarious behind-the-scenes photoset. The pics understandably blew up on Twitter. Later, snowfairy posted a video of the creative tactic, complete with reaction from Saki.

It appears as though this might not have been the only shot snowfairy took at a splashy background -- pay attention to Saki's hands and you'll notice that she's in a slightly different pose in the video than we see in the photographs.

But hey, if you've got a good thing going, you're going to do it more than once. Which is why snowfairy already pulled this move back in 2014:

To snowfairy's credit, it looks as though he's improved his belly flop.
