Game of Thrones Season 7 Is Already Written and Arya's Mind Is Blown

Okay, here's the good news: apparently, season 7 of Game of Thrones is already completely written. The scripts are in and have been sent out to the actors involved. That's the good news.

The bad news is SEASON 7 WON'T BE RELEASED FOR ANOTHER YEAR. Yep, Season 7 isn't scheduled to air until "Summer 2017", definitely a few months after the typical spring release. So, while the cast is already up-to-date on everything that goes down after Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor and Daenerys began sailing to Westeros, the rest of us will have to sit here twiddling our thumbs for another 11 months.

And, at least one cast member - in this case, our favorite tomboy assassin Maisie Williams - is freaking the hell out, as denoted by these tweets:

The fact she ends on "holy BALLS" is telling - my guess is Theon and Varys join forces to....ah, shit, nevermind. I have no idea! No one has any idea! Literally anything could happen - we don't have the books to guide our way anymore because George RR Martin is too busy blogging about the Jets or something to finish writing the books he was SUPPOSED to have finished years ago while DB Weiss and David Benioff ACTUALLY SAT DOWN AND MET THEIR WRITING DEADLINES LIKE PROFESSIONALS.

Sorry - again, no real details yet, and that's after trawling every social media account for every cast member I could think of (Gendry's Twitter is particularly unhelpful). One of the few stories of other cast members commenting on the scripts comes from Williams' on-screen sister, Sophie Turner (aka Sansa Stark), who said to Variety:

"I actually don't know because of the way last season left off. There are so many options. She could run with Littlefinger and become a villain and sadistic. Or she could also team up with her brother Jon."

Which tells us....GODDAMMIT NOTHING STILL. It's almost like these actors are actively trying not to spoil specific plot points or something.

Well, it's going to be a long 11 months of waiting - but until then, we'll just have to remember Maisie Williams' pretty perfect reaction to the Red Wedding:
