With the release of Pokemon GO, you can "play" Pokemon in the real world everywhere you go. There are Rattatas in your toilet and Digletts on the street corners - and since it's on your phone, there's no escaping the overwhelming world of Pokemon right in front of you at all times.
Still, it's just a mobile app, and it's not THAT immersive (plus it requires you to actually walk around in real life). The real danger? A console Pokemon MMO. It sounds like a dream, but it might be a nightmare.
Let us pray our dreams never come true.
