Illustrator and character designer Totomame has been creating these "fictional animal" Pokemon for a couple of years now, combining Nintendo's monster franchise with their fluffy counterparts from the animal kingdom. While other creators have focused on the monstrous qualities of Pocket Monsters, I might prefer Totomame's gentler approach?
Half hamster, half electric eel. Pikachu might be even more marketable in this form.

Not gonna lie, this one's cuteness depends entirely on how you feel about warts.
The cow goes "moo", and the trainer who uses Milk Drink goes "ew".
This isn't even the silliest looking duck on Earth and it's a Pokemon.
You don't even wanna know what happens when you lick this thing.

Breloom's name is a portmantaeu of "mushroom" and "umbrella".
In case you haven't checked recently, Azurill's official art makes it look like its having an existential crisis.
