Brigador is an early-access game on Steam that harkens back to the isometric SNES cult favorite Mechwarrior 3050. Though things aren't as grim for indie devs as the once-feared "Indiepocalypse", it's still a huge risk to make a game and hope to stand out in an increasingly crowded market. Add to that the prevalence of sales and bundles that allow players to experience AAA titles for sometimes literal pennies and you have an audience that very often says things like this:
