Sesame Street has done plenty of TV and movie parodies in its time, but rarely do they step this far into R-rated territory. On the surface, "Game of Chairs" is a simple skit about musical chairs -- except, you know, the part where everyone is based on characters from HBO's Game of Thrones. Though technically you could say this segment is about helping youngsters learn their numbers, it also contains a number of jokes meant specifically for people who have watched every episode of a show that contains a boatload of nudity, sex and murder. The disturbing mixed messaging sort of makes you wonder what Sesame Street's endgame is -- what are they trying to do, engage audiences of all ages in substantive quality programming?
