While VR technology (like, most prominently, the Oculus Rift) continues to gain steam, a lot of us are left wondering: what games are we actually going to play with this stuff? Is it just going to be mods of Skyrim and Minecraft, or will devs really commit to the medium and start making games MADE to played as virtual reality experiences?

The answer is, uh, yeah. Take EVE: Valkyrie, for instance - a spin-off of the popular MMO EVE, Valkyrie will let you pilot a starfighter in some very Return of the Jedi-like space battles in a crazy immersive environment. Per the developers:

This EVE: Valkyrie gameplay trailer puts you in the cockpit of a heavily-armed starfighter in the most realistic zero-G shooter available on any platform. Experience intense team-based dogfights, immersive VR gaming technology, and the dark sci-fi setting of the EVE Online universe.
