It looks like New England and Canada have finally succumb to "snow madness" as videos have been emerging of people taking the #BostonBlizzardChallenge, which is reminiscent of the #IceBucketChallenge, except without any of those pesky "charity" pretenses. Participants strip down to their underwear and flop into one of the many pristine snow banks that are currently burying the region. More "advanced" versions have people jumping out of two-story windows and landing in the frozen embrace of fresh powder. 

 

 

Mayor Martin Walsh of Boston actually had to issue a statement urging his own electorate NOT TO JUMP OUT OF THEIR WINDOWS. Once again, we're chalking all this up to "snow madness". It's only a matter of time before the Northeast is overrun with Wendigos. 

 

 

The most painful part of these videos is that you KNOW it's that gross powdery snow that totally gets under your collar and it doesn't even pack nicely for snowballs... ugh I hate that stuff.
