Keith Anderson lives in Ontario and has a unique annual tradition.

undefined

Every year he gets a new tattoo based on one of his son's drawings.

undefined

The tradition started when his son Kai was 5.

undefined

New works are added to commemorate each new year.

undefined

3 different tattoo parlors have done the actual needle to skin work.

Though Kai DID help with the latest one.

It's a touching way to preserve a fleeting moment in time.

undefined

Kai recently turned 11. But they might want to stop once he's a teenager, otherwise there's going to be a lot of awkward tattoos of female X-Men characters with weird boobs (speaking from personal experience).
