Panda Express has a pretty well-known reputation as the "McDonald's of Chinese food" - that is to say, it's not very good, but at least it's fast and cheap...and heavily Americanized. But how true is that? Buzzfeed gathered up a group of actual Chinese people - a mix of people who grew up in China and Americans whose parents brought them up on traditional Chinese cuisine - in order to see what they thought of America's idea of Chinese food.

And the results aren't what you'd expect - aside from a few complaints (surprisingly, MOSTLY from the younger generation), they generally enjoyed most of what they ate and felt some of it was at least nearly approximate the genuine thing.

Not the egg rolls though. F*ck those egg rolls.
