Dean Norris will forever be Hank Schrader in our hearts - easily the third or fourth most badass bald character on Breaking Bad. But it's not like he just wandered onto the set and said "Hey, I'm gonna take this seemingly one-note macho cop role and turn it into one of the most endearing and memorable characters in TV history." Nope, he had to work his way up the ladder to arrive at that point, and that ladder required guest-starring on a lot of TV shows.
Man, season 2 of 24 was full of manly dudes who are well-known now being generally forgettable (at the time). Dean Norris was the general who kept advising President Palmer to bomb the Middle East into oblivion literally minutes after the nuke blew up.
In one of the goofiest episodes of Lost (and easily the funniest-titled), Norris appeared in 'Some Like It Hoth' as a sad dad who was trying to reconnect with his deceased son via the psychically-inclined Miles Straume...OR DID HE? He did.
Oh yeah! A very young (and still bald) Hank Schrader played another law enforcement officer on The X-Files, as one of the many law-folks who tagged along with Mulder and Scully on a case-of-the-week.
And Norris even appeared on The West Wing - and as a Republican politician, so he was a bad guy, but probably less villainous than any actual politician.
