1. William Hootkins
William Hootkins is probably best remembered as doomed rebel pilot Jek Porkins - who helped Luke in the assault on the first Death Star, and who had a hilariously mean name for an overweight dude. Speaking of hilarious names - WILLIAM HOOTKINS. What a great name!
But while Hootkins had a memorable role in Star Wars (which would have been enough for anyone to have a successful career on the convention junket), he went on to a number of other things you love that you may not have realized he was a part of...
Yep, Hootkins (that name will never stop being great, by the way) was in Raiders of the Lost Ark as Major Eaton, one of the two officials who approach Indiana Jones about the Nazis pursuit of his old mentor, Abner Ravenwood, which sets Indy off on the quest to beat them to the Ark of the Covenant.
Hootkins was also in Tim Burton's original Batman, as Lt. Eckhart - the corrupt cop killed by Jack Nicholson prior to his transformation into The Joker.
What else? Hootkins was also the cowardly evil assistant Munson in Flash Gordon, as well as the voice of Maximillian Roivas in Eternal Darkness, as well as a bunch of other things over the course of his lengthy career.
Basically, Porkins deserves a lot more respect.
