As part of Dorkly's newest column, Let's Send Andrew To Incredibly Expensive Locales In Order To Compare Videogames With Real Life, I traveled to France (some place in Europe) to compare it to the newest Pokemon region, Kalos - featured in Pokemon X & Y.

Kalos is actually heavily based on France and French culture - so we thought it would be fun to spend thousands of dollars to fly me out there to see if I could get the low-down scoop on how Pokemon basically COMPLETELY PLAGIARIZED AN ENTIRE COUNTRY. Frankly, the results may shock and horrify you:

We start with "The Eiffel Tower" - or, as Pokemon fans know it, the "Prism Tower."

Hmmm - those two look a little similar, huh? Care to explain, Nintendo - or are you too busy plagiarizing other countries to respond?!

After that...my 3DS ran out of battery, and I completely forgot to bring a charger with. Oops.

Anyways, we hope you enjoyed this edition of Let's Send Andrew To Incredibly Expensive Locales In Order To Compare Videogames With Real Life.

Next week: Andrew compares the Accounting Department at work with Hell from Diablo...BECAUSE THOSE TWO PLACES ARE PRETTY MUCH IDENTICAL. AND YES, THESE ARE WORK-RELATED EXPENSES, JENNIFER, YOU DEMON. Please. Please, Jennifer. I did not understand Euros weren't, like, just Monopoly money or something.
