Google's got an incredible array of cool, weird features. One thing that it doesn't have (yet) is the feature shown in the above video - the ability to read sign language and translate it into speech instantly. This kind of translation could make communication between sign language users and those without infinitely simpler.
Again, it's not a real thing (yet). But could it be? David Svedenström (one of the creators of the video) had been in contact with Google about the possibility, and apparently it's "really doable."
C'mon Google, we'll forgive you for The Internship if you make this happen.
