Twitter Cannot Handle the Human Torch Casting

The new cast of the Fantastic Four was just announced: Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, and Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (AKA "The Human Torch"). This is pretty great casting all around -  especially Michael B. Jordan, who's gone from Wallace in The Wire to roles in Fruitvale Station and Friday Night Lights. He's an incredible up and coming actor and his personality is just perfect for Johnny Storm and oh yeah by the way he's black and Twitter cannot handle  that.

Quick question: what was the Human Torch's defining feature - his race, or his ability to light himself on fire and fly around? Pretty sure it's the fire one.

Not racist, but you cannot cast anyone with this skin color in this role where race has never been important to the character.

Fun Fact: did you know that saying "I'm not being racist" when saying something racist makes it okay?

Nope! Black Panther's race actually IS relevant to his character. Glad we could clear that up for you.

And now here's a list of people who have never heard of "adoption" or "being half-siblings" or "not caring about unimportant things":

To be fair, these people are from an alternate universe (it's called the "I'm Not Racist But..." Universe)
