I was so pumped to hear everyone throwing the word BAMF around recently. I thought it was cool that a comic book reference had become modern slang. It wasn't until much later that I found out that the current use of BAMF was not a reference to the sound Nightcrawler made when teleporting.-Zack
I recently went to see a movie with my girlfriend. Since it was the Friday after Halloween, all the theater employees were dressed up. We go to get our popcorn and the cashier has an awesome Link costume, complete with a sword, shield and Navi. I compliment him on his costume and he lets out a big relieved sigh and says "Thanks man, you're the first person to get it. Everyone keeps calling me Peter Pan."-Fraser
My grandma is a little Italian lady who used to chain smoke like crazy. One day I gave her an old NES and Super Mario Bros., though we figured she probably wouldn't even play it. Not only did she play it absurdly well, she became obsessed with it so much so that she stopped smoking because she was too busy playing. After her heart surgery a few years later, her doctor said that had she continued smoking the damage to her heart would most likely have been irreparable. I'm proud to say that gaming saved my grandma's life.-Dayna
I am flat broke, but I wanted Halo 4 so bad that I sat and counted out $23 dollars in coins at the store to make up for what I didn't have in cash. I had literally a single penny left. The big problem is that XBOX Live payment is due soon but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.-Tony

A friend and I recently replayed the entire Mass Effect series. When it came to the love interest, I was always complaining about his choices. He said I was overthinking it, but how could I avoid the underlying issues with each one? In Mass Effect, he chose Liara, and I told him her relative age compared to humans was about 14. Then in Mass Effect 2, he chose Tali. If you have ever had a sick girlfriend, you know that's going to be very difficult in the long-term. Then he criticized me picking all the human choices. My reasoning for this was simple Ashley may read too many poems, but she doesn't have any daddy issues, medical problems, or an outrageous age difference. I planned on Miranda too being just a fling due to her paradoxical way of thinking. We argued over the merits of each candidate for hours, but we stopped when we realized we were both single and this might have been highlighting why.-Koby
